Obituary for Eula Mae Thompson
Eula Thompson, 86, died January 5, 2017.
On March 10, 1930 God sent this beautiful lady to bless out hearts as only she could. Born to the late Jerry Hall and Ophelia Holloway in Victoria Mississippi. Aunt Eula never gave birth but she raised the two younger brothers Richmond Big D Bogan and Kenneth Bogan at the passing of her parents. She also blessed the lives of all her nieces & nephews as if she was our parental mothers
Eula was a member of Mt. Moriah East for over 50 years she loves her pastor and church family dearly. Eula served on the Usher Ministry and Iris Cub until her health failed. She was a great cook & retired from Pappy & Jimmy Restaurant in Memphis Tennessee.
Affectionately called ‘Aunt Eula’ by all. She was the 2nd child of seven siblings. She leaves Sara Gatewood of Cayce, MS. Six sibling preceded her in death Lue Ellen Davis, Mary Helen White, John Harvey Bogan, Richmond (Big D) and Kenneth Bogan. Eula leave a loving caretaker/ daughter Johnnie Ophelia Brooks her nieces Ophelia, Joyce, Laverne, Sherrial, Greta, Tauwana, Rita, Curly, Sherrion Ann, Jackie, Alicia, Latonya & Kennetha nephews Clarence, Therrion, Carlos, Viz, Melvin, Curtis William, Davis. Mark, Kenneth Jr. Marvin and Donald Ray. A host of great nieces & nephews to cherish her memory.
