Obituary for Gerald Alden Haynes
Mr. Gerald Alden Haynes was born April 29th 1939 in Memphis Tennessee to the late Harry and Ann Haynes. He departed of his life on September 20th 2016 at the veterans hospital in Memphis Tennessee. He was married to the late and wonderful, Betty Jean Haynes which he truly adored. Mr. Haynes always gave words of encouragement to all those he met he often spoke about how proud he was to have served as a QM3 in the US Navy. He later went into the distribution business and also became the owner of the Village Gate Restaurant & Lounge. Mr. Haynes enjoyed the life of his children Jeffrey, Michael, Paul, Jenena, Denise, and Loretta. Which meant the world to him. He leaves behind his outstanding adorable grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as his loving sisters and brothers-in-law Christy ( Dick) Pepper and Cathy ( Sherman) Markham and Fred Krug and the late ( Carol) Krug. He will truly be missed by family and friends.
