Judith Faye Carr, 55, died July 11, 2019.
Judith Faye Carr was born February 23, 1964 to Rev Nelson A. Hunt and the late Minnie Hunt. She was the oldest of four girls. “Judy” transitioned from this life July 11, 2019 at Baptist Memorial hospital to be with the lord.
She confessed Christ at an early age at Pine Hill Baptist Church where she remained a faithful member and praised God through song until death. She was an employee of John S. Wilder, and the Fayette & Shelby county school system as a teacher; and also CAAP, Inc. as a counselor and a retired employee of Carrier Corp. She was united in holy matrimony to Sam L. Carr and remained married until death. “Judy” was proceeded in death by her mother, Minnie L. Hunt; and sister Jerld M. Toles.
Judy leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted husband, her two daughters Katrina Lesure (Anthony) & Kanisha Carr (Andra Ladd, Jr) eleven grandchildren, her father Nelson A. Hunt. Two sisters Jacqueline Hunt and Janice Heaston (Collins) A grandfather Ned Anderson and a grandmother Mary D. Fryer, two brother in laws Charles William (Diane) and Chester Carr, Jr (Elois). A special friend Christine Falls and two special daughters Kendra Stuart & Sherika Brown.
