Linda Carr, 67, died November 26, 2021.
Linda Renee Brooks Carr “Sister” was born unto the union of L. C. Green and Mary Alice Green on July 3rd, 1954, in Memphis, TN, where she professed a hope in Christ at the age of thirteen at Pleasant Green Baptist Church in Memphis, TN under the leadership of the late Rev. E. L. McKinney.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Rev. L.C. Green, Mary Alice Hare, David C. Hobson (stepfather); husband, Gerald Brooks; husband, Albert Carr Jr.; daughter, Chantel Latrease Sanders; and brother, Michael Green.
Linda Renee Brooks Carr will be greatly missed as she leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Jason Brooks; grandsons, Charles Sanders Jr. and Marquell Downey; and granddaughter, Trinity Brooks.
She also leaves to cherish her memory seven surviving siblings: James Green (Arry), of Buffalo, New York, Barbara Taylor, Sandra Tindall, Cynthia Green, Gerita Madden (Gerald), Terrance Green of Nashville, TN, and Lorna Green (Rajan Sr.), of Rochester, New York. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces; nephews, great grandchildren, relatives, and friends.
