Lois B. Banks was born April 7, 1951 in Traverse City, Michigan. Lois’s faith in God began at a non-denominational church in Flint, Michigan.
To the union of the late Bethel Bye and her living husband, Clifford Bye.
Lois has one brother, Nels Bye (Marcia) and one sister, Sherry Bye who preceded her in death.
Lois worked as a clerk and in the janitorial department at Amtrak Union Station for 38 years. Lois departed this life on May 8, 2020 at her residence.
Lois was united in holy matrimony to James Banks (as her second husband) on March 22, 2007.
She leaves to cherish her memories: two sons from her former marriage, Eric and Neil Alfredson; from her second marriage, her husband, James Banks; three sister-in-law’s, Hazel Sample (Sylvester) of Arlington, TN, Jennifer Wilkinson (Gayle) of St. Louis, MO, Brendan Griffin of Chicago, IL, one brother-in-law, Isaiah Banks of Memphis, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
