Obituary for Wilson Polk

Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth. The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah. Psalms 46:10-11

He was the second eldest child of six children. Wilson was a graduate of Douglass High School in the Class of 1972. Wilson was affectionately known as “Guinea” by his longtime friends, fun loving, kind and always willing to help a friend. After graduating high school, Wilson began a working career at the Buckeye Cellulose Corp. Wilson was truly a charismatic man. He mastered the journeyman level of carpentry and plumbing. Wilson was a very hardworking, very caring, fun loving and free-spirited man.
